Trial ClassDavid Moon is the head coach of the Mixed Martial Arts program at Unicity Gym. He has over 12 years of experience in the sport and has trained and learned from some of the best fighters and coaches in the world.
He has over 8 years of professional competitive experience, having competed in countries like India, Egypt, Czech Republic, and Slovakia. He is currently still active in his professional career and represents Team Tristar, training under Firas Zahabi.
David's course will teach you his "hybrid" striking style which mixes in techniques from boxing, Muay Thai, and taekwondo. In addition, he will teach you techniques that pair striking and wrestling to take someone down, and jiujitsu to submit or subdue someone on the ground. Come get fit, stronger, and more confident with David and become a complete martial artist.
Mohamed is a true martial artist. He started his journey with Kyokushin Karate and has trained under David Moon for the past 5 years. He has added onto his karate skillset by learning Muay Thai, boxing, jiu-jitsu, and wrestling, making him a "complete" martial arts athlete.
He has competed in various amateur kickboxing and jiu-jitsu competitions. His latest competion was an 8-man jiu-jitsu tournament in his 100kg weight class where he won the silver medal.
Mohamed aspires to continue his martial arts journey by training consistently, perfecting his craft, and applying what he's learned in more competitions.
Vislan Dalkhaev is a professional boxer and coach with a 12-1-0 professional record and over 200 amateur fights under his belt. He has more than 25 years of experience in the sport. Vislan started his amateur career in Russia with some of the best coaches from his hometown, Dagestan and Chechnya. He has competed all over Europe and has trained with and fought against many olympic athletes as an amateur. He has been competing professionally here in Montreal for 8 years and represents the well-known Rival Boxing Team.
Vislan has great experience and knowledge to help you learn the sport of boxing. His classes are high-energy, with practical drills to help you to develop power, speed, and technique while getting you in shape!
